Content Description Collection is an accumulation of original manuscript material and papers of the Botsford Family of Greenville, NY. Collection comprises two cubic feet of material and contains land records, wills, financial records, personal papers, ephemera, and information related to the late-20th century restoration of the Botsford House and its inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places.

Scope and Contents This volume contains the handwritten compositions of Augusta Ann Hallock of Norton Hill in the town of Greenville, New York. Entries are ordered numerically rather than by date, and the first two pages of the book contain an index of composition titles. Compositions are in some cases possibly copied passages delivered by an instructor, and in other cases possibly original work of Augusta. Scope and Contents The collection includes a range of materials, including legal records, property records, correspondence, business and household records, photographs, and memorabilia. Of particular note are the selections of family correspondence from the Civil War and song lyrics written by Levi Wood when he was a soldier. Scope and Contents Collection comprises two ledgers of cases heard and ruled on by Stephen Platt, Justice of the Peace for the Town of Freehold between 1792 and 1799. The cases within each ledger relate primarily to civil complaints, and the decisions rendered generally resulted in the payment of settlements. Both of the books are covered with a sheet of brown paper and bound with linen thread, though the first ledger has separated into two blocks.

Scope and Contents Collection comprises a selection of documents relating to the James Stevens line of the Stevens family of Greenville, NY. Included in the collection are miscellaneous papers related to fraternal orders and agricultural ventures as well as municpal and court papers which concerned the family.
